Brewster B239 Finlandais

C'est en Finlande durant la deuxième guerre mondiale que le Brewster connut ses plus grands succès. Cet avion pourtant moins rapide que les Me109 et pas très bien armé avait pour lui des capacités de manoeuvres bien supérieures à celles de ses principaux adversaires. Son rayon de virage plus court, lui permettait ainsi de se placer plus facilement dans la queue de son ennemi. Voici une version du Brewster B239, appelé sous d'autres couleurs et dans d'autres armées le Brewster Buffalo.

It is in Finland during the second world war that the Brewster knew his biggest successes. This plane nevertheless less fast than Me109 and not very well armed had for him capacities of operations much superior to those of its main opponents. Its really short bend for curves, so allowed it to take place more easily in the tail of its enemy.
